BDCN24 is seeking a motivated and creative News Room Editor Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern, you will be responsible for managing our news portal and social media platforms, ensuring daily updates, and creating engaging content. This role is ideal for someone passionate about journalism, digital media, and current affairs, looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced news environment.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation: Fast and creative content Writing for our News portal.
• Daily Updates: Ensure the portal is updated daily with relevant content, news, and articles.
• Social Media Management: Manage and monitor our Facebook page, posting updates, responding to comments, and growing engagement.
• Research: Conduct research to gather information on relevant topics, staying updated with the latest news and trends.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the editorial team to align content with BDCN24’s goals and brand voice.
• SEO Optimization: Implement SEO best practices to increase the visibility of our content.

Qualification:

• Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program or a recent graduate in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.
• Typing Skills: Good typing speed and accuracy are essential both in Bengali (Unicode) and English
• Design Software Knowledge: Must have knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Canva.
• Portal Management: Must have sufficient knowledge of working on portals.
• News Writing and Communication: Must have skills in news writing and communication.
• Knowledge in Current Affairs: Must have knowledge of politics, economics, sports, and culture.
• Social Media: Must have basic knowledge of social media.
• SEO Knowledge: Basic understanding of SEO principles.
